Day 559 No more Fukushima!

Just a quick entry tonight. Stopped by the demo in Nagoya this evening. Not as many children tonight as usual, but that may be because school is back in session and many have school tomorrow, Saturday.

Will include 2 pics from my antiquated cell phone. Apologies for the poor quality. COPYRIGHT FREE!

In the lower picture, it says, “Yamero Osprey, Genpatsu” (Stop Osprey and Nuclear Power). There have been many protests in Okinawa against Japan buying Osprey from the U.S. because of it’s bad record of safety, among other reasons. So many people of Okinawa have been fed up with the U.S. military bases there and all the problems the servicemen have caused. Yes, having the bases there has created jobs, but many say their safety and that of their children is at risk.

So now that protest is spilling over into this one in Nagoya, at least with one protester and one sign.
